Yup so I'm going to prince charming this Halloweeen and my GF will be Snow White.
LOL yeah its the wrong prince charming costume..this one is actually for Cinderella..lol.
But oh well I don't know my Disney that well anyways. Spent a good 7 hrs making this from
an XL 6 foot costume to a Medium for me. Wish they made a smaller size instead of 1 size
fits giants only. I litterly cut the jacket in 1/2 down the middle and sew it back together. Also trimmed the bottom jacket so it didn't look like a p-coat. cut the sleeves, moved the buttons, and cut my pants shorter. LOL hope you guys have a good laugh. I think I look more like a band geek than prince charming. I know my hand sewing skills aren't as good as you cosplayers. And no wig either...And I'm sure there are plenty of mistakes. But maybe someday...lol.

We'll probably end up going to West Hollywood this year. Its always a mad house with no parking.
But there are 100,000 people there and probably 20K wearing costumes. So its always fun to see
other people's wackiness. I'll post another silly pic after halloween.

Here are 2 pics from ACC...just of Susan though. As usual I was kinda
lazy to shoot. Only did 10 minute shoot with Susan. We wondered off into
the magical forest and shot there. Glad to see everyone there. And hope
everyone had fun. Special thanks to the cooks of ACC who seemed to be cooking
all day. See you folks around PMX.

Also did a shoot last tuesday of Ryoko Mitsurugi from real bout high school.
Think it has something to do with a high school where everyone likes to fight.

I'm sure all of you have heard about the Laguna Beach Shoot. Yup there were crazy
hills and steep steps. Most of the time was just spent shooting so I didn't get
a chance to sit the whole time. Then walking back up those steps was the final
killer with all the gear. Most of the time there was a white over cast. The sun
didn't come out till we were all pooped and ready to leave. But oh well as a photographer
you have to learn to work with what you got. If the sky is crap...shoot the water. Thanks Eric, Bobby, and my other friends for helping with the lighting.

So last Sunday we finally got a chance to shoot Lauren's Wedding dress. Took us all
summer to get to it but it finally happened. We started around 2pm. It was blazing hot
so we just kinda took it easy and shot in various shady regions. After a while we took
a break and walked to a boba shop. I finally got Lauren the boba I owed her from Fanime.
Tony, Bobby, Susan, Susan's brother, Lauren and I went to the Indian (Taiwanese restruant).
And ran into Ming. The food and atmosphere was fantastic as always. We called it quits
early and went home...since it was a sunday night. No partying too hard.

Was a great party at Tony's pad. Thanks Tony for hosting and Thanks to Tony's brother
for bbq for like 8 hrs straight. I tried rock band for the 1st time. I don't think I
have any musical talent. :D.

So I finally got my camera back from the Canon Service center last week.
The error 99 turned out to be a bad shutter and I had it fixed under
warranty. So I decided to take the camera out for a test run. I really
haven't shot anything since Fanime. The purple flowers are from a random
street in San Marino near Old Town Pasadena. The Radio towers are on top of Mt Wilson.
And the clouds are also at Mt. Wilson. On those rare cloudy LA days...sometimes
the marine layer of clouds falls bellow the mountain tops and you can drive
up there and look down on the clouds. Last time I saw this was back in 2007.
I wasn't able to capture the sunset like I did last time unfortunately. One
of these days I have to do some sort of cosplay shoot up in Mt Wilson whether
it be in the snow or one of these cloudy days...

There will be a creepy photographer gathering this saturday at 2pm.... If you have a
t-shirt printed please gather in front of the entrance by the fountain. I would make
it friday...but need to give people time to transfer their designs and make their shirts
when they get to the con.  We only have 1 t-shirt and don't want to be smelly...so wear
it saturday

Hmm...didn't take as many pics as last year...but I think thats okay. Think I'm getting
spoiled in taking location shoots where there aren't crowds of other photographers around
you the second you ask someone to shoot. I really have to learn how to shoot around a lot of photographers again.

I heard the park officials were being douche bags this year..not sure why they care since they are getting $5 for every parked car and money for the spot rental. Instead they'll probably get $0 next year...that's real smart business practice... Oh well different location might not
be bad idea anyways so we get a different setting.

I wanted to try out the guppy house but we ended up at the curry house instead. The food
was pretty good so I don't mind. I've never been to the curry house before so it was a
good experience. Thanks Wayne and Jennifer for the suggestion. In other news I'll probably
go to Fanime.

Hm starting to look like wolverine again.  Been working 12 hrs a day, 6-7 days a week. So haven't had much time to do anything. Not even to get a decent hair cut... Better make reservations with Chloe soon.

So I saw some pics my mom took of her chinese tour bus tour to fresno. She took this
from LA to Fresno and back on the same day for $15. LOL!!!!! So It got me
all curious since I know all of you seem to be wondering when these Sakura were going

Thanks bobby for doing the real organizing ;-). Think last night while I was photoshopping I saw
some ghosts in my photos...serious. It spooked me out a bit being so late and all..
But anyways I had a great time and thanks everyone for coming out. I know how hard it is to make
those costumes last minute. I wish we had more time as usual and were able to organize better.
But the ship was really huge and walking back and forth really got me exhausted. There were

This 4 person shoot some how turned into 15+ people. So sorry if I couldn't invite more
people. It was hard to get 15 people from one end of the ship to the other end as is.
There were alot of things to see so people kept getting left behind. I kind of wish they just held a full on
con here. The hotel room is on the ship. You can't get any closer than that. Plus a
bit hard to get reservations for 15+ people at nice restraunt  too.. Good ones are always
packed. Now that I know what I'm dealing with maybe next time I can add people and
just have sub groups like what shiya did.. The other problem was I didn't know how
strict the photography rules were on the ship.  We've been kicked out of alot of spots before.
Think people would've been pretty pissed to drive all that way and pay for parking too
to be kicked out. Big risk but turned out okay...lol.
